What do you get when an interior & event designer marries a creative director on an historic estate in the rolling hills of Kentucky? An unforgettable party, that's what. As many of their guests were coming from North of the Mason-Dixon line, Mike & Dean let the Southern setting speak for itself. The floral elements and decor were kept fairly simple, bringing in natural greenery, pops of white, and guilded surprises throughout the night-- antique gold leaf on the cake, a gold disco ball, and the bridesmaids in gold sequined mini-dresses? Yes, please!
Wanting to honor the groom's Chicago roots along-side the bride's Bluegrass heritage, the couple brought the Windy City's best DJ to keep everyone movin' along with a Vienna Beef hotdog cart straight from the source-- they served up classic Chicago dogs (no ketchup!) as a late night snack before taking off in a vintage convertible. This wedding was total perfection and a total party down to the last detail!
